5 Must-Have iPod/iPhone Apps

I recently bought an iPod Touch because I wanted a gaming console that I can play with when I’m bored. And also because ako nalang ata sa buong mundo ang wala ‘nun. Anyway, it was already jailbroken when I bought it so I spent the entire day installing games and apps.

So far, here are the most abused games and apps on my iPod:

1. Virtual Villagers 3: The Secret City

I love role-playing games and Virtual Villagers is one of the very first games I was addicted to when I first bought my own computer. It’s similar to The Sims but consists of tribesmen struggling to survive in the island of Isola.

2. Top 100 on iTunes

This app plays this week’s Top 100 on iTunes and I play it almost everyday. Because of this I don’t need to download the latest songs anymore.

3. Cut The Rope

This game is probably one of the cutest iPhone gamse ever. If you have an iPod touch, iPhone or an iPad and you don’t have this — you are missing a lot! My boyfriend is actually more addicted to this game than I do, but given the choice he’d still pick Angry Birds. For me though, Cut The Rope is way better!

4. WhatsApp

A cross-platform instant messenger for iPhone, Blackberry, Android and I think even for Nokia. Majority of the people in my social circle are either on iPhone, BB or Android — that’s why this app is very very handy as it allows me to reach my non-BBM friends. Pretty soon I won’t be using SMS completely, oh if only my family and sibs would convert already!

5. Instagram

This photo-sharing app is really amazing! I have recently taken an interest in Lomography and this app is just perfect. Image effects are so nice and there is even an option to auto-post your pictures to Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr. If you like taking photos with your iPhone/iPod, you must try this!

Any amazing iPhone/iPod Touch games and apps that you think I would love? Please share! :)
